Purposes of these Scholarships

peoples, and consequently lessening of conflict, can be achieved by
improving communication between them. The study of languages,
and as a consequence the culture associated with each language, is
one way to attain those outcomes. The history of the
establishment of the Trust can be viewed at www.mangoldtrust.org.au.
One of the objects of the Trust is the provision of
educational scholarships to enable young Australians to spend a
period of time in a foreign country, with the intention of
furthering the education, communication and understanding between
peoples and cultures.
